Did you ever receive a grand gesture from another business that truly blew your socks off?

I hope you have… and I hope your security business is blowing away your new clients and building an impregnable firewall around your business.

I was recently “blown-away” by a gift I received from a hotel we stayed at in Paris.

Mind you, this is the same hotel my wife and I stayed in for our honeymoon, gulp… 15 years ago.

Upon check-in, the lady at front desk asked us if we had ever stayed at Hotel Colisee before and I told her we had stayed there 15 years prior for our honeymoon. She was very happy and grateful that we had come back (with our kids) to stay again.

So after we checked in, we went for a late morning cup of espresso and a couple of french croissants, then took a leisurely stroll up the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe, then back to the hotel for a quick siesta before going back out for the night. A nice lifestyle I could easily get use to.

When we got back that night, I noticed a bottle of Champagne on our nightstand along with a very sincere note from the receptionist.

I gotta tell ya I was blown away! The receptionist went out of her way to make our stay in Paris fantastic.
