Truth About Security Marketing Websites


There are complete businesses built up on selling you a security marketing website.  You probably know a few of  these companies so I’m not gonna bother naming them here. They will never tell you the truth about  99.9% of security marketing websites, which I’m gonna share with you right here and now,

They’re completely WORTHLESS!
(If you don’t consistently update and drive traffic to your site via off-line marketing)

Honestly, do you think prospective clients are going online and ‘googling’ for “<<your full name>> security <<your city>> when they don’t even know who you are!! And, even if they did via some kind of telepathy, they’d see tons of Google Adword ads from ADT, Brinks, Sonitrol, Monitronics, etcetera, and so on.

How is this so, you may be wondering?

‘Cuz those guys have SEO optimized their sites and have bought the words “security system” “burglar system” (and many more keywords that people are typing in who are looking for a security system). They have even narrowed it down to major cities/towns within your geographic area! If you don’t believe me try it out yourself, look at the pick below!

The EFFECTIVE way to use a security marketing website is to first do OFFLINE security marketing (direct mail, display ads, free-standing inserts, etc.) to the RIGHT mailing lists, and in NICHE publications, driving them ONLINE to your website to apply with YOU and YOU ALONE!
Of course, you STILL need to SEO optimize and invest in key Google Ad-words but that is a whole other can of worms. And that ain’t as simple as it seems either!  Look at the picture of the Google image, Check  out all the crap prospective buyers see when they search google for “Security Systems Worcester, MA” from a Worcester IP address.
THAT is case and point why your security website is failing to bring in leads and you can’t survive with only online marketing.

Just “‘cuz it’s free,” doesn’t mean that’s all you oughta do, Bubba!

If it don’t make dollars, it don’t make sense!
You need to spend a couple duckets to do some PAID security marketing to drive traffic to YOUR site, and YOURS ALONE which will drive your site onto PG1 of Google for people searching in your area.

And no, getting sucked-into all the “me too” Google Adwords “free systems” security marketing mess, and getting people who only go online to price-shop you against ADT, ain’t smart either!

You need to drive prospective buyers from your OFFLINE security marketing to www.YourSite.com. Get it! They get the EXACT URL (website address) off of YOUR OFFLINE security marketing, and NOW they type in YOUR URL ONLY!
